Specialization
This fabulous colonial region specializes in three things. The Mid-Atlantic region specializes in raising livestock, growing grains, and catching fish. These three jobs are very important, because they affect the future of this wonderful colonial region.
The livestock being raised leads to a bigger and better future. The livestock will eventually be killed and used for foods at the market. Later on, technology will get more advanced and new ideas will lead to new inventions. These animals will then also have more than one purpose than just being used for a source of food. For example, we are able to eat the meat of a sheep and use the wool to make clothing. We are also able to milk cows for drinking and making food products. The livestock will also lead to even more delicious meals that can only be found in the Mid-Atlantic Colonies.
The grain that is grown in the Mid-Atlantic Colonies leads to healthier meals for our body. It also leads to more complex recipes that are used in restaurants and hotels. Grains are also used in many processed foods including cereal, granola bars, and crackers.
The fish that is caught in the Mid-Atlantic Colonies leads to a more careful community. We now know that it is very important not to overfish scarce populations of fish. It is very crucial that we don't overfish, or some populations will soon be extinct.
All three jobs that the Mid-Atlantic region specializes in leads to new ideas, healthier meals, and a more careful community. As long as we all work together, we can make the Mid-Atlantic Colonies an even better place.
